I know its going to be a good day when you call and book in a session. Shooting any artist of any stripe means you are looking for my creativity and I am so up for your challenge. We are cut from the same cloth so, here’s what I think….and your thoughts??
Four, with an ear to the floor, the sirens listening in to Odysseus and his crew in Homers tale. They must also be storytellers from a storytelling association and this shot would eventually be tipped upright and used as an advertising piece.
Storytellers, circus performers, book authors, dancers, magicians, etc, there is an endless stream of creative individuals in need of professional photos to catch the eye, and publicize their chosen art. There is nothing more enjoyable as a photographer than to create unique images with creative people just like you!
You’re a dancer and sure you need creative dance photos, but your website also needs interesting and various different photos to allow your personality to shine. All artists, no matter what discipline, need great images to add variety and layers to their public visibility.
Whether or not you are a well known Canadian author or are a new author about to release your first published novel, your dust cover photo like any other artistic promo piece should speak in volumes about you and your character, and even about the characters that you write about.
You are a high flying circus performer passing through town, when on a whim you decide to have some professional photos done and serendipitously you find me. The rest is history. Sometimes I feel like a lion tamer, other times like I am walking the tightrope, but always with my camera, and always with a safety net. I am available for your main event or even your matinee performance!
While it is true that the hand is quicker than the eye, I bet the shutter of a camera is still much quicker than the hand! In any case Phillipe had me mesmerized with his amazing magician tricks. I hope that I have the same opportunity to find that special magic in you.
Audio Visual artists are a unique group of artists who can “paint” temporarily and play with lighting,colour, shadow, and textures and often blend in sound, as an entire sensory experience. Add in the human body, as in this example and voila. The artist approached me to capture this and I found the intriguing thing for me was being able to permanently capture something meant to be temporary.
Another amazing way to express and display an artists abilities by using the human body, is the incredible talents of body artists. The patience of the artist to first design then to execute what they envision is incredible. The subject then becomes their own talent displaying different characters to their new found fans.
Artists Rate $250
This session includes 2 outfits and 4 retouched finals and includes all images taken as high res digital files. The session lasts approx 60-90 minutes and is a start and stop during which we take some time to analyze some of your session as we go to make sure we are getting the best results.
